Mini Bio
Alison is the only daughter of 80s rock legend Katherine Blaire. The lead singer of the hair band, Knob, Katherine was alternatingly a media darling and scapegoat in her heyday of the mid-to-late 80s, frequently making headlines for her reckless behaviour. The band managed to stay in the Billboard Top 100 for about seven years before falling apart in 1994 when their bassist ODed and died.
Alison's parents divorced two years later when she was 10, her mother moving to England and her father taking Ali to Arizona where he remarried a rather shrewish woman and lived an unremarkable life. After her step-mother discovered Ali's powers, the teen was shipped off to England to live with her mother. Her mother now has a solo career that is moderately successful in Europe and Japan, though she can't break into the US market. Alison has been in an out of the tabloids herself for her own reckless behaviour, most recently for a stint in rehab during the summer break of her 2nd year at Kings College London.
Ali has calmed down a bit since then and has started performing small venues as a singer and performer in her own right, under the masked pseudonym Dazzler. She's just moved back to New York to try and make a name for herself without riding her mother's coattails (and perhaps avoiding some of the bad press).
